couldn't sleep last night and woke at 4.15,decided to get up and walk the big 2 then the 2 young ones,could give them a bit longer walk than normal,great.Everything fine until 5.30 when out with Sox and Shady and they spot a fox and give chase,holy hit!!!Sox was good for once and came back,no probs,Shady is off and running,had to go all the way home with Sox and put her in run and go back out and look for Shady.When I got back to the park there she was waiting on me as if to say'where have you been mum?'She was so pleased to see me and came in straight away when called so you can hardly give her a row.She is stinking of fox,don't have time to bath her until tomorrow and she kept insisting on rubbing herself against me,so now I need a bath and I'm running late!I'll never get up at 4.15 again.:D sandra.

But isn't it amazing walking at that time of the morning? - there's something quite special about having a dog otherwise what other mad person would be walking over the fields/in the park, etc just enjoying the stroll at that mad time of the morning!

:D I woke up really early this morning too so decided to risk taking my dog out to a bit of woodland that doesn't see much use (she might have kennel cough). We were only out for 20 minutes but when we got back to the car the police were there inspecting it

Took a bit of quick talking but they saw the funny side of it ;)

Oh yeah - and she didn't cough at all :rolleyes:

Seems like the entire board is up early today. Morse and I had a starlight walk this morning at 6 am as I had to go on Stinkfoots class trip to outdoor skating rink in Princes Street gardens. He had a lovely time chasing rabbits into the backs of my knees. It was great to be all alone and see all the stars away from the street lights and watch the fog lifting. Mind you there was more traffic on the roads than I expected so early in the day.:)

no offence but its pitch black at 6am do you not walk into trees or wondering cows.  I have to pavement pound with torch in hand. 

My god, there is no way you would ever get me in the woods in the dark, scary!!!
