Hi Mattie, & rescue folk, you know I`ve been helping out the rescue people here for a while, well I`ve been looking after a goldie Larry, for a couple of wks & the vet has a slot on the tv once a wk & he`s going with him tomorrow to try find a forever home & the subject of contracts came up & they haven`t got round to doing one. So I was wondering if you could let me have a basic draft of the ones you use please & they can then adapt it to suit over here.  They have one from a Spanish one but would like to compare the differences :) Thanks a lot.

I'll try to find a copy of our rescue adoption agreement - I think (hope!) it's in a .doc file.  It's pretty watertight legally in this country.  It may be tomorrow when I can get back to you but you'll need to let me know how to get it to you.

Oh thanks very much MB :)Will it go by email, do I need anything special to open a.doc file? Tomorrow is fine. He`s going to be a little TV star for a few mins tomorrow night :)

OK Christine , fortunately I have found the forms in an e-mailable format - both for release from original owner and adoption by new owner.  Let me know where to send them. (.doc format is just that in use within Microsoft Word, but I can send them in simpler formats too if that's a problem)

Larry is now a TV star, I took him up earlier & he behaved like a dream, it was going out live as well :) I was so proud of him he was just great :D :D Just needs a home now....

Thanks Mattie :) I just needed a contract/form from a resue so the one here can compare & make one of their own up. They haven`t got round to doing one yet!!!!!! They`ve got one from a spanish rescue as well & I think they`re going to pull bits from both but they need to do it soon cos my vet does a slot once a wk on the tele & I asked him if would take Larry & he said of course but one of them had to go with him & so we`re hoping to get a lot of publicity for them now :D

Just thought I`d let you know the phones been ringing for Larry non stop!!! Lots of people interested in him & they`re going thru them this morning so he`ll have a home soon. The programme was on again later in the evening & the TV people have said they`d like to go & film the other dogs that also need a home so it`s been a great success. I`ve come up with the suggestion that when Larry is in his new home his family take him back on TV to do a follow up on him & they think thats a good idea too. It`s not national tele or anything like that only the local one :)
I`m really made up for him :D :D
