Tried to  open my Msc today and teh computer is  saying it perforrd an illegal operation and will be shudown How do   I fix it?

Have you tried restarting your PC?  i would think you have but just in case...it normally works for me!

Mine does that from time to time. I just reboot too. It scared the life out of me first time as I'd just got the internet. I thought someone must be monitoring me and I was going to be arrested. :D

What were you up to Kath? :) Thanks chaps have got it sorted now and it was something to do with my dear husband networking our computers and forgetting to re-install Office 2000 on my machine. Bless his beard hes fixed it now.:)

Mine quite oftens says that and then proceeds to cut me off......and I'm not even doing anything illegal :eek:
Still haven't got to the bottom of it <<siiigh>> :(
