An update on Star for all the kind people who gave me advice when I was at my wits end with the constant diarrhoea. i just got the results of her blood/faecal tests today, and she has a bacterial overgrowth. Everything else is fine,no pancreatic problems, which is what they were worried about,as she is so small for her age.I have to take her tomorrow to get weighed, and they are putting her on a long course of antibiotics. In the meantime she is to stay on the lamb and rice food till this clears up,then she said i could put her back on to puppy food, but by that time she will be 6 months old and will have been on the adult food for about 6 weeks. To be quite honest, she hasn't really had that much puppy food anyway,as I had to keep putting her on the bland diet because of the runs.Should i go back to puppy food when this clears up,or maybe a junior version? One vet recommended the lamb and rice, and another is saying she should really be on puppy food,so I am not sure which way to go.

Jean, can you add this to the original thread. It's helpful to keep all the info in one thread :-)
