We lost our 13 year-old Welsh Springer Spaniel recently and are looking for a new companion. We are keen to find a slightly older dog rather than a puppy, as we have a nine-month old baby. Looking for a spaniel or labrador/retriever - don't mind whether it's a dog or bitch. We live close to Dartmoor and do most of our walking there, so the dog must be OK around livestock. Can anyone help?
