I have a 3.5 year old Golden Retriever, about 6 months ago, he started to smell, mainly from his fur, shampooing will freshen him for 2 weeks at the most, then the smell comes back. Any suggestion?

wait a min your dog stays nice for 2 weeks????  wheres the tip???

my setters (who have a thinner coat then a golden) smell after a few days, its just one of those things with dogs especially now winter has set in they will get muddy and smelly.

you could invest in some wipes designed for wiping down dogs to they dont have to have as many baths.

Also make sure you brush him at least once aday as goldies do have long and thick coats that will keep dirt etc in them!!!
