So far this weekend I've visited my eldest son who is just out of hospital recovering from an abcess on his spine,he has to have the nurse everyday for a couple of weeks yet to redress it!My youngest son texted us on Sat to say he had dislocated his shoulder playing Rugby(no it wasn't with the England squad) and rushing to answer his text my husband fell up!the stairs and stubbed his big toe so ended up in hospital yesterday having a hole drilled through the nail to release the pressure.My Dad has been attending hospital for post- op keepfit,he had a triple heart bypass,and this has now caused him to have raised blood-pressure so he is now not so well again.Yesterday to top it all my friend had a heart attack on the operating table,whilst undergoing a breast op for suspected cancer!!and is in the coronary care unit.
I'm feeling pretty low at the moment...wondering what else? Just had to let off some steam before going to work!

What a grotty few days for your lot! Good job you're OK to rush around (carefully) and tend the sick and wounded. We've had a bad year, but it's all happened to one person, my Dad. He's also had a triple heart bypass (postponed once due to respiratory infection)and a week extra in hosp as he was vomiting, low BP and heartbeat of 212 per min., plus a heart attack, intestinal cancer (op just postponed ...infection again) and almost died due to bleeding ulcers (rushed in for 6 units of blood....only one other case like it at the hosp. that survived!) and now he's bleeding again due to the antibiotics. All that is all since February (don't think I've missed anything out).
