hi all been a while since i posted. start apdt training on fri with my staffie trainer has been a real help to us all ready and is willing to take him on. just wanted to ask about another problem we are having at the moment. he has started peeing and pooing in the house. usually at night. dont know why cos he is walked twice a day and let out for toiletting last thing at night 11.30ish and at latest 8.30 in the morning usually earlier. he even wet our bed a few weeks ago. it is not a regular thing but it seems to be happening every couple of weeks. we do not punish him in any way and always clean it up out of view of him and spray with disinfectant so there is no risidual odour. we wondered if it was because of the cold but he was fine last year. and doesnt have aproblem with the cold at any other time. usually if he needs to go out he will wake one of us. just wondered if anyone had any thoughts. thanks for listening smotyn

Gus had a little phase of cocking his leg in the house at about 9 months or so but has now stopped ?! (fingers crossed - for good)

Be careful what 'disinfectant' you use - the ones that go white in water contain a chemical which is very similar to urine - this misleads the dog and he keeps marking.......

thanks for your replys guys he is four in january and the disinfectant is shaws pet stain and odour eliminator so all natural, i forgot to say he is only doing it at night. we have started letting him out more frequently but he did it agian last night but he is fine when left when we go to work. will take him to vet next week just to get him checked out but dont think there is anything wrong with him. smotyn
