thank you for the replies. I should have pointed out that he is restrained at the back behind a dog guard. This does not stop him from jumping about from side to side. I tried restraining him with a lead and he chewed through it! I have just taken him out in the car "no where in particular "and he is currently sitting in the back totally confused and refusing to get out! Obviously thinks he is going for a walk. So I shall carry on each day and see if he improves. Any further comments welcome
