Hello, I'm a first time breeder looking for a stud Weimaraner (hopefully I got that right) to breed with my AKC registered two + year old. There doesn't seem to be too many people around my area of New Jersey and unfortunately most people "fix" these beautiful animals because of their hyper tendencies. Does anyone out there have a akc registered stud/ suggestions?

As you are on the other side of the pond, have you tried contacting the Weimaraner Club of America. I am sure that they will be able to help you find contacts in your area.

Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to check that out. The taking care of young animals is natural to me, but this searching for a mate for my dog is a totally different aspect of it. =)

Take your time. There is so much that you have to consider when planning a mating. You might find this link on breeding some help. Also, have you considered contacting the breeder of your bitch for help with bloodlines etc? There might be some lines that you need to avoid?
