CONGENITAL HEART DISEASE is such a wide term, what is the dog suffering from and why do you think the rest of the litter may be. This sort of problem is normally an accident during pregnancy or at birth and it is possible but not likely that the rest will be affected. Did the bitch have a C section or some other birthing problem or was she sick or have and accident during the whelping period?
Do understand you are upset that your pup has a problem but think you are causing yourself unnecessary pain by worrying so much about the other pups, contact the breeder and tell them, they may have an idea of how it may have happened, but I doubt it, then leave it to them to contact whoever had the rest of the litter. Before you do this it would be best to get more information from your vet, so you can explain to the breeder in more detail just what is the problem your dog has.
Congenital - existing from (since, at) birth
Hereditary - passing on of physical or mental characteristics from one generation to another
There is a major difference, and I don't think this is the sort of thing you should be pasting all over public boards without giving full details. You have not given any details of your bitches condition at all.
If you are really worried about other pups in the litter why not contact the breeder, stud dog owner and the GSD Breed Council - they do have a web site - instead of breaking the ToS on this board by posting the same mail in nearly every forum? I think they have a health co-ordinator.

Can't help wondering why if this poster is so worried about her dogs health they have not posted again with more detail, or do we think that they were just having a panic attack.
If they really need or want help or support they should post again as I am at a loss to know why the panic to contact litter mates, rather than get detail of the problem their dog has.

Don't know a lot about Heart Trouble at all but I would say if (God forbid) anything happened to Sal and I thought it may be "of concern/interest" to the owner of the others in her litter I would contact her breeder first.

Let me just clear some things up for everyone who replyed....
1) Ive been in Gsds for a very long time...
2) Let see now if my breeder was interested in whats wrong with Kimba
do you all think i would be trying to trace these people on a dog forum???????????
3) im not going into all thats wrong with Kimba not at the moment anyway but in time when all this is sorted out yes you can all have the full story.
4) I have enough evidence in black and white oh from the Vet University in Glasgow from the top Dr in her field that i have to find these people..
5) My last word on it is all these dogs and bitches have to get checked out by a Cardiologist for the reason being they might have what Kimba has and thats all i am saying maybe when you all know the story then you can all make comment or judgement but all i came on this forum for was help in trying to find these people not advice........so if anyone can help me trying to trace them i would very much appreciate it...

This is just a thought, because I don't know anything about this sort of thing, but maybe the KC could help if your Vet specialist contacted them to explain the circumstances and the necessity to trace the owners?

Sure if it is that urgent the KC will tract the pups if the breeder will not. Have you tried buying the Breed Supplement for the relevant dates and trying to contact through that. Unless you tell us what is wrong we don't see how something congenital is so important, and you would be doing every one a kindness if you told us.
Have you given full detail to the breed clubs, once you have the names you may be able to get contact through the clubs, how did you find the breeder in the first place, may be others took the same route and you can find them that way. There done my best, but think it the problem is that worring the Scotish or British KC will help.
Have you tried the Dog Papers?

Ive already contacted the K.C over this matter and they cant`t do anything because of the Data Protection Act thats what i was told by them and also the Health Dept Of the K C in Piccadily

You could always have a look here
Puppy Reunion to see if anyone else has a pup registered from the same litter
I am sorry to hear that Kimba has a problem but there is no need to be quite so defensive. You did not give much information and unless the owners of the other pups happen to visit this board it is unlikely to find them, we don't know how long you have been in the breed, what experience you have had or whether you have already contacted the breeder, stud dog owner.
Some ideas:
1. Get hold of the Breed Records Supplement from the Kennel Club that listed the rest of Kimba's litter and contact the breed note correspondents in Dog World and Our Dogs to see if they might list the litter mates names asking owners to get in touch with you.
2. Contact the Kennel Club Geneticist (if you don't have his details please contact me and I can give them to you) with the details from your specialist (Jo?) and ask if they would foward letters from you and a copy of the report from the cardiologist to the other owners if they have their addresses.
