Topic Dog Boards / General / Hypothetical Question??
- By liberty Date 22.11.03 20:42 UTC
In this hypothetical situation, a 'friend' has a year old Weimeraner, and has recently needed to go back to full-time work. She has mentioned this to her 'friend' who has said she will take the dog !! The Breeder had said she will take any dogs back, but only after she seriously slagged off people, who had returned dogs to her, so she is reluctant to do this. The 'friend' is still happy to give the dog a good home, but should they advise the breeder that the dog has changed homes??

Please inform the breeder; most reputable breeders want to know where the dogs that they have bred have gone;hopefully the "friend" will be able to give the dog a good and stable home especially as the dog has reached its "difficult" stage which is the time most are given up for rehoming.

Definitely inform breeder. Many of us get very upset at the reasons given for returning dogs - especially if we find that the dog has had no training, does not know its name etc etc
