102 puppies seized again at Stranraer being brought in from Northern Ireland and I bet its the same cretin that got fined a few weeks ago of £500.00 Surely something must be done to stop this. Will try and find link.
Sue
the guy that got caught a couple of weeks ago is the "person" that brought an infected sheep into northern ireland and caused the outbreak of foot and mouth over here!!!!!
Can't find out yet if it is the same guy........seeing how he only got a pittance of a fine last time it's a good chance that it is.

Was this recently? Hubby and I were only saying on Friday that £500 is a drop in the ocean when you think what this moron must be making :(
Maybe this time he'll get the prison sentence he deserves...
Just checked Dog World and the one just fined was called Mark Walsh if that helps any.

It's idiots like him that give NI a bad name :(

Hi.
That is the same bloke.
I'm sad to say he comes from not too far from where I live.
I think he comes from Northumberland and I live in Weardale.
A lot of the farmers round here lost their livelihood through him.

P.S. If I am wrong, I don't think I am, please put me straight.

It was John Walsh who was fined last week, so not sure if Mark Walsh comes from the same family (maybe). And yes it was John Walsh who took fmd into Ireland. J Walsh is now living in Cumbria, but runs ads for his puppies nationwide.

:( Well they've either got his name wrong or they are most likely related - M Walsh apparently also lives in Cumbria.

Shows how much the fine deterred him doesn't it? Did not wait long did he - to get back to old tricks.

Hi in todays Sunday Mail it states that the guy bringing these puppies in from Ireland was Stephen Hamilton from Galston in Ayrshire, he is the brother in law of the one from Dalrymple that regularly advertises multiple breeds in the Daily Record. So its not the same person that brought in the 49 puppies.
I just wonder how many more LOW LIFES are around doing this and as the law is no deterrent I have no doubt it will continue.
