I know you can't show under the breeder, or someone who has handled the dog in the last 12 months. Does this also include the ring-craft trainer?

Don't know, but would you want to. Would think you could but you could send an e-mail to the KC to check.

I don't but my lad has two Black Labs. I do miss my dogs though, but the traveling I do meant I couldn't keep them.I was hardly ever home and it was unfair on the dogs to be constantly moved between my house and my mum's. :( :(

jenjen,
sorry for being thick, but what do you mean by 'anyone who's handled them' in the last 12 months?

LOL Ice Queen, that is why I said "would you want to", puts the trainer in a difficult position, they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.
OK, as Jenni's mum I think I should clear a few things here, Christine.
1. She did not ask if she could show Moss under the trainer, she was talking in general.
2. Even if she was, as a co-owner I can still show him, but let Jenni take him into the ring.
3. At least she handed him back to me. She would now be dead if she hadn't though :D
4. Yes, we did fall out over this, but she gave me plenty warning so I could find him a new home, instead of just dumping him on me. He is now happy living with his brother. I see him on average 3 times a week.

I only asked because as I was aware Moss had been handed back to you Linda and I thought that circumstances may have changed yet again.
Christine
I am sure it is inappropriate for a personal dispute to be brought onto the board in this way....could both parties email each other privately maybe?

I agree. Take it to email please.
Hi Jen Jen, yes you could show under the ringcraft trainer. The rule only applies if someone has handled your dog in the ring (at a show) OR prepared your dog for judging (i.e. helping with grooming). Hope this helps - lol Kay
