Our 7-year-old Jack Russell-cross bitch has suddenly lost a lot of weight and her stools (though normal texture) are very pale. She's still v active and eats like a horse. Can anyone suggest an answer? She also has a habit of eating stones (I saw another topic discussing this).

Could be any number of things, see a vet and take a sample. JH
