For years now I've always given my dogs honey for kennel cough also benelin just read in the paper that Honey mainly from china is laced with antibiotics so must explain why it worked,but according to the news it has links to other health problems

There have been recent studies that show Honey does have good healing properties and it is now used by the NHS in dressings on difficult wounds with very good results. However the antibiotics found in the chinese supplies is not good for your dogs at all. A low dose of antibiotics sparodically is a recipe for breeding bacteria with antibiotic resistance so chuck out any stuff you have and buy some new as I understand all the chinese stuff has been withdrawn.

I use honey and camomile tea to treat nappy rash. It's the ONLY thing that works including expensive creams and prescription cream. Our SCBU at the local hospital also uses honey laced dressings on prem babies as most drugs aren't licensed for use on prem babies - they can't be tested on little ones.

Honey is good for those of us who suffer from Asthma and Hayfever if you buy the locally produced variety. Seems it helps to desenetise your immune system because it contains the pollens from your area.

Tried it last year after my GP told me all about it and found that my hayfever was a lot better - of course that could just be because I wanted it to work but who cares lol. I am sure it was the Honey and will stick to it, haven't had a cold this winter or asthma attack either.
