I have two bitch Dalmations,one who is five and the other sixteen months old.Over the last two consecutive nights the young one has started fighting really aggresively where i have had to seperate them which resulted in me recieving the odd bite.I have done some research on inter aggresion and as i feel this is the case with my two dogs.the young dog as been playfully biting the other dogs neck and as started to eat extreamly quick,she as also always been very aggresive when both dogs have bones so we have to take the bones off them.A month ago we came home from the pub at about eight,let the dogs out of their dog kennel and run gave them both loads of fuss,they started fighting which we had to seperate,the fight resulted in the young dog having to have stiches on her ear as it got split down the middle.as we seperated the dogs we let them back off and the young dog went back for more,this was befor we noticed she was injured.if any one can give me some advice it would be greatfully appreciated.at the minute i am considering re homing the young dog.The dogs are seperated at the minute and i am scared to put them back together. i think maybe thier fighting over whos going to be the dominant dog,which ever one you decide should be the dominant one of the two(which i would go for the older female),feed them first,give that one treats first,fuss that one first,that will enforce the dominance of that dog.What ever you do let that one do it or eat it first,split them up when you go out the house.put these things into action straight away and you should notice a differance with in a week or so.good luck :)
