my 7 mth old pup wee's when she is excited i.e. when one of us walks into the room she is in, we are hoping she will grow out of this as she gets older, her mum wee's if we have been on holiday - when we collect her, maybe its just excitement, and she'll grow out of it. hollie's ends up on the hall carpet and all down the fridge and freezer -not nice -you have my sympathy!

Hi I have a 6mth old male Staff and he is exceptional with doing his business outside (at home) and has only ever weed a couple of times inside since we got him...however at work this is very different and 2 weeks ago he decided that he wasn't going to go outside when we were at work; so I went back to the drawing board (good advice I received on the dog boards) and it has been now a full week and he is good as gold. I am taking him out every hour and when he just stands and looks at the door, I nudge him out. I hope this is of use to you :-)

hi susies mum
it could be a submissive thing,if she is very low to the floor or rolls on her back showing her tummy then it diffinately submissive behavior, some pupies do it some don't i think she will most likely grow out of it.
Hi, I had a bitch that peed all over the carpet when my son came to visit. Never anyone else. He had to say hello to her outside to get over the initial excitement. She never grew out of it. :(
Sorry if it doesn't help, but just thought you should know.

thanks everyone for your advice she decided to have a change tonight she jumped up on the settee and weed then put her tail in it and wagged her tail so it went everywhere i really hope it is a puppy thing bigger she gets bigger the puddles
It may be best to try to let her out into the garden as you enter the house so she can have a wee there - I expect you've thought of that. Also try to more or less ignore her rather than let her get too excited, maybe give her a gentle fuss later on. She will hopefully grow out of it, it is not at all uncommon and most do grow out of it :)
