If all dogs came from wolves, how come some breeds have problems if they come out white? Like dalmations can be deaf if too much white, and aussies can't be white, but german shepards can, samoyeds can and what about small white dogs?

We all came from a water born single cell but some of us can't swim, during the course of evolving things change. And of course there is white as in Dallies and white as in GSD's. It all depends on which sort of genetic instructions are instrumental in causing the white in the coat, some are connected to the same instructions that cause deafness and some are not.
Dogs may well all be derived from the wolf or rather have the same ancestor but we would not expect all canines to be the same, just as we and the apes share the same ancestor but we do not really expect people to resemble them even if at times we are tempted to say they do.
