Does anyone have any details of doggy friendy places to stay over the crufts weekend ???
Dont fancy that long drive and then having to perform in the ring. As near as possible to the venue would be ideal
All info much appreciated :)

the Travel lodge takes a dog or 2..
Go onto their site or call and they can tell you the closest one , think it is about 3 miles from the NEC £55 per night.

Hi, hope you have more luck than I have! I did a look around last month to book for Crufts, and all the usual ones close were already fullly booked, including the Holiday Inn Express, Travelodge at Tamworth, and a whole load of others in the area! I am just hoping that there are cancellations closer to the date:) Couldnt get anything booked for LKA either - gosh most of us Dog people must be an organised bunch, booking so far in advance!!!

I got into the Holiday Inn at Coventry last week, only about 20 minutes from the venue. Nice hotel and if it is a Fri. Sat or Sun you should get a fair price.

We went via a travel agent and got a fantastic deal Holiday Express near airport. We got 3 nights for less than one usual cost. And we didn't book until January.
Even had a bit of ground to exercise dog and they provided bag for used poo bags.

Hi Lel, Well done, we've stayed at Tamworth Travelodge before, straight along the motorway for the NEC. I still havent booked anything, hopefully some cancellations will come up at the Hliday Inn closer to the date! Am showing on Gundog (Am Cockers) and Toy (Pugs) days. Very nervous about Toy day - will be the first time I have handled at Crufts myself, having previouslyl exhibited with Partner handling.

I am having problems finding any where available and I'm not taking any dogs!

Fantastic B&B's in the village of Meriden, we stayed there last year and it is a lovely village with excellent pubs but only 10-15 mins away from NEC, we are already booked up for Merden this year, staying in the local pub because no dogs, which is the Bulls Head (Innkeepers) however check out B&B's in the area, I stayed in one last year that was dog friendly - name escapes me.

There is a brilliant caravan site there with dogs allowed
