Does anyone have any advice about harnesses which attach to existing seatbelts in the car please? My coupe is just too narrow and low to take the crate and he has already outgrown his travelling box at 12 weeks! but as I need to take my OES with me in the car at various times, I thought I would go out and buy a harness today. I don't know what to look for really. I don't think changing the car is an option yet, but an estate would be a better plan for the future I think, especially if he keeps growing at the rate he is now!
Thanks
Lorna

Hi Lorna
We picked one up from our vets for about £15, when Sparky was 12 weeks, it has adjusted and still fits him now at 6 months. I found it really useful if I had to take him anywhere on my own, and although he did still fall forward if I braked suddenly, it did give some piece of mind. It also made it easier to train him not to jump out as soon as the car door was opened. Now he is bigger though, he prefers to travel in the boot, though I can still use the harness there.

Hi Lorna
ours too cost bout £15 from local pet shop and the harness part has an attachment on the top which wraps around the seatbelt . When he's out of the car the lead can attach to the harness or you can take it off . :)
