Do any of you suffer with arthritis? I have it in my right knee and since having our 14yr old dog pts,in August I have to admit to being less inclined to exercise,so my knee is giving me hell! The little bit of extra weight from lack of exercise hasn't helped either ;)
I take glucosamine and cod liver oil supplements, but don't want to start on strong pain killers or anti-inflammatory tabs! Doc. suggested the gym:( nearly killed me!
As we have a new pup due in a few weeks I want to get much fitter again,I am back to walking, after being so lazy, but it hurts! have any of you tried alternative treatments? and has anyone used Emu oil as I read somewhere that it has good results for this complaint?
Any help/advise will be truly,gratefully received :)

A friend of mine swore by a teaspoon of honey a day for her knees. I know that the health food shops sell royal Jelly Capsules which have health benefits????

Didn't it make her knees sticky, Brainless? ;) Or did the action of the dogs' tongues licking it off provide a benefit?
:D

Shark cartiledge, chondroitin, green lipped mussel extract also assist with athritis. Celery seed helps detox the joints. Cider vinegar & honey are also s'posed to be good.

There is a product called Synflex, that I buy for my dogs, but is also for use in humans which has Glucosamine, chondroitin, shark cartiledge etc in it available from http://www.activexamerica.co.uk

Judging from he results I've had with Taz, I'd say its worth a go.

If your into natural stuff these are good on price. Simple packaging and bulk buys, they are cheaper for some stuff than the wholesaler we go to. They'll send a free catalogue too.
