HI
Just a quick puppy question. My new pup (approx. 9-10wks) is incessantly nipping and biting at us -- fingers/toes/pantlegs. I understand that puppies explore their world through their mouths, and this will eventually stop, but in the meantime, what is the best way to discourage him from doing this all the time? We usually offer alternative when he nips and happily continues with a toy instead of my fingers. However, I do want him to learn that the toys are for chewing and not our fingers! Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum Wrigley :)

If you do a search here on the Forum and type in PUPPY BITING , you will find lots of old threads on the subject as it is a problem most puppy owners seem to have to go through :)
