hi i have a 17 week old cross puppy and on sunday nite he had really bad dioreah ( green liquid) and when we woke up in the morning his eye was badly swolen. We rushed him to the vets who diagnosed a virus for the runs and an allergic reaction for the swelling. the vet gave him two injections an anti inflamitary for the swelling and something for his tummy she also gave us a 4 day course of noroclav, last night the swelling had gone and was solid again. As the vet advised we gave him scrambled egg for his breakfast (9am) and was fine now he has just brought all the egg back up! (14.30) anybody have any suggestions on what else i can do (this is my first puppy and only my boyfriend has experience with dogs as i was bitten as a child and not allowed to have pets because of this) i will be very gratefull. thanks charlene

call the vets and tell them what has happened, it may be your pup wolfed down his breakfast and hasn't given his stomach a chance but then again it could be something more serious, don't take any chances.

This could just be a reaction to eating something from the bin, particularly as he has been ill with a stomach virus very recently. Has he eaten anything since being sick this afternoon? Just vomiting flem would suggest that he hasn't. If you are at all unsure, ring your vets 'out-of-hours' number and ask for advice.

Hiya,

I would call the vet.

It probably is something silly, from something the pup has eaten....but I wouldn't take any chances.

Hope all goes well, take care
