Do you mean 'auxiliary'? I've never heard of Auxiliary shows. I only know Companion, Limited, Open and Championship shows.

If I'm wrong, please help me out!

The judge will physically examine the dogs at all shows - except maybe the novelty classes (dog with the waggiest tail etc) at Companion shows.

Certainly the dog will be felt all over, teeth examined etc, at Open and Championship shows, and the pedigree classes at Companion (they used to be called Exemption) shows.

If it is a Companion show (exemption) show you're interested in, there are often ads for them in your local freebie papers, the vet's noticeboard, and in pet shops.

You will probably find that if you go along to a ringcraft class, there will be one or two schedules there. Once you enter and attend a show, there will be an abundance of schedules on the Secretarys table. I bet you could be at a show twice on any weekend of the year. Good luck.
