No you don't. As I understand it: I of M is part of the British Isles, but not part of the UK. The Isle of Man is covered by the Kennel Club. For the purposes of animal movements etc, I of M & the Channel Isles are classed as part of the UK. Why not check with the KC &/or DEFRA?

Hi, I'm in Jersey, I don't know if it will be the same but I've had 2 dog's sent over by plane from the UK. Both dogs had to be 12 weeks old & we had to send over a box for the pup to be brought back in. the 2nd time we have to have the breeder get a vets certificate to be sent with the pup. (no body at the airline looked at it though!) I think it much depends on the airline's rules about age etc, these tend to vary. Also if the isle of man are the same as us they will have there own Kennel Club so if the pup is to be shown it will have to be registered with there KC. For that the pup has to be reg with the UK KC & the owners will have to show reg documents & a 3 gen KC pedigree. I hope this help's. Trace.
