After forking out £1200+ over the last 6 months I have decided to bolt the kennel door and re insure the mutts :o Trouble is the oldie is over the problematic 8 years old mark so forget most of them including Petplan etc :( After reading the other threads plenty of people have mentioned Morethan Insurance but they came in at £49 plus excess of £90 with a limit of £6000 :( while Directline Insurance was only £29 with excess of £45 and a limit of £4000 :) just seems to good to be true, has any one had any dealings with Directline Pet insurance side, not to bothered about how fast they pay out, just more worried about hidden clauses, corner cutting so as to offer such brill rates?

I'm with Morethan, and they've paid up promptly without any problems. Dunno about Direct Line, check the small print, or better still phone them and ask if they provide cover after 12 month of illness/accident.

Good Luck
