How life has changed since getting a puppy :D - Its 7:20 and I've been up since half six (on a SATURDAY mind) - poured breakfast for pup, then me, in that order! Opened the door, let her out. Woke the neighbours with my excitement over a poo! Made a cuppa to take in the garden with me while I supervise her funny five minutes - chased her round the garden 'cos she was eating a snail - I definately saw the curtains twitching at that point! Caught her, got the snail, threw it away - she decided chase was fun so we carried on (in the dark!) When I caught her I thought ahhhhh cuddles now, which I attempted and now I have a BIG muddy paw print, slap bang in the middle of my forehead....Its gonna be a long weekend..Of course I wouldn't change it for anything :D - Morning champdogger's :D

Good morning sarah :)
i've been up since 5am, fed puppies which are being newly weaned so are standing in the food and wiping it all over each other and me, i haven't got a muddy print on my face but do have a love bite on my chin from the smaller pup....i'm sure he thinks i'm his mum and decided to suckle.....so at the moment i'm covered in puppy food, whelpi and saliva :D

Good morning Sarah - it's a dogs life! :-D
I have done breakfast for my four children, then Oscar, I'm way down the list! He's been in the garden for a run around - the neighbours don't bother looking anymore! He likes snails too but I have to throw them over the fence (when noone is looking!) or he goes and finds them again :-)
P.S. Good morning Jackie - Puppy love bites - soooo cute!

The thing is i'm sleeping downstairs at the moment (have been for 2 wks) and so when hubby gets up and see's love bite he might think i've been out last night and up to no good! :D

Morning All,
lmao Dolly and i just got up, she went bed at 11pm and i went at 1am.
Dolly knew it was too cold to go outside and freeze her rrrr's off so she stayed in bed with me :)
Off to make brekkie for my two girls..Sarah

I'm just off to pick my ickle man up who's been at his grandma and grandads for 4 weeks due to the girls being in season. I can't wait to have him back home again, although I've been and forth to my mum and dads nearly every night!!!
Morning everybody.I had long lie this morning 5.30 instead of 5,decided to take all 4 out at one time.Definately won't do that again!!!Big white cat ran across the safe area where I let them off they bolted after cat I bolted after them and had to pretend the cat was the other direction so they would follow me,all that exercise fair wore me out so I went back to bed at 6.30 and got up at 9.30,luxury!!!

I'm going to look at a litter tomorrow and hopefully choose my little chap (i know i want a boy), I'm sure my life will change dramatically and I look forward to every minute (maybe I should have got a pup in June when the weather is warmer and nights lighter but eh?)
But you'll be able to cuddle it more, aaaah!!!,sandra.

Ok, Sandra, I'll confess! When our older dog is under the weather or feeling a bit sorry for himself I sing him that Knick Knack Paddy Wack Give the Dog a Bone Song. And he snuggles up and gazes at me adoringly. Which only goes to show how loving and loyal dogs are, cos my singing sounds like a set of nails being scraped down a chalkboard :D
Lesley

As I think you all know by now I call Anton my Spanish Water Dog, Ickle Man. So there I am in my daft voice going "Where's my ickle, wickle, fickle Ickle Man? I uv you do you uv me?" and he's there with his big brown eyes staring at me and gives me a great big sloppy kiss. I don't know who's the worst between us. I'm sure that he's human. God I'm mad:d
Then there's his great, great grandma Dilita. She wags her little stump till her hearts content and I call her sexy bum. So we start of with "who's got a boring bum, and the tail stays still, who's got an ugly bum and still the tail keeps still until we get to the WHO'S GOT A SEXY BUM and then boy does that sexy bum wag. The only problem is I call her sexy bum when I'm out walking, I'll have to say it one day as a good looking guy goes past and shout sexy bum and explain to him that I was shouting my dog!!!
Mmmm.. an imaginative ice breaker that one! :D And also an easy screening tool to weed out nondogloving men.. thats good. :D My daftest thing is diving head first into bushes/ lying down in the middle of a public park to recall Manic Morse - and looking at him throuh my legs brandishing a biscuit callling " Here boy, come get a BIG ONE" Red face red face.

Though it's not a dog thing, the one event that springs to mind, is rushing out into the garden 7.30am STARK NAKED to rescue a screaming starling from the mouth of my cat!
The other one was trying to remove a lovely German Shepherd that had hurtled down a main road out of nowhere and leapt into my car and was sitting with my dogs. This was happening in front of a bus stop with a queue full of people with nothing better to do than watch me!
He was a very very large GSD, who was now sittling happily on the back seat of my car, with my own GSD and little collie X, with my GSD looking absolutely horrified. As I didn't know the dog, or his intentions(!) I was trying to get him to jump out again using the "Happy" voice! and jumping up and down in a happy (and utterly ridiculous way) all the time very very conscious of the audience at the bus stop. Bless him he did get out, and I then took his collar wondering what I was going to do next. I then saw his owner, rushing down the road in her nightie to get him! Who felt sillier I hear you say. When I think of it I always chuckle
