hi i have a 4 months old akita his losing hair round his eyes.took him to the vets his not sure what it could be,might be some sort of rash he said,gave me eye drops and cream to use for aweek.than bring him back.its worring to not know what it is,plus it cost me 32.00pounds.ijust lost my job bit worried.i am feeding him on burns but thinking of changing to pro choice waiting for there sample to try out.has any akita owners or breeders come across asimliar probelm,pls advise

When you called Professional Choice, you should have mentioned you had an Akita, they breed Akita's and might be able to through some light onto your young lads problem. ! Your sample should be with you in no time at all, can't say enough about the Pro choice service they give you unreal :-)

Did the vet take a skin scrape? And is the area getting any bigger?

Have you been in touch with the breeder of your Akita? They should be able to help with some suggestions.
