Okay having managed to loose Sal's (precious) kong last week. Then discovering that she was besotted by it, searching manicaly throughtout the whole house/garden/car for it.
I have brought another today plus a "spare" which is living in the airing cupboard at the moment. Just waiting for any more emergencies to crop up.
What toy does your dog love the most?
Edited to say the old Kong has come back brought round by my next door neighbour (I can only think my Youngest nephew Louis (5) threw it over the fence at the weekend) Roy my neighbour found it when clearing up the leaves today.
Now we have 3 kongs ;)

Oldest loves any ball (preferrably one on a rope). Younger one has a furry gorilla that makes gorilla noises if she chews it's head - she normally just lies on the floor sucking it or rests her chin on it :)

Absolutly anything she can get hold of!!!!!! All are favorites for about a week when new. This includes going to sleep at night with it in jaws and waking up the same in the morning!!!! Then something else appears from that has been missing for god knows how long and that becomes favorite for a while

Lily my family's lurcher pup's favourite toy is a rubber skinned duck squeaky toy (nice :D ) although she is deaf she still manages to squeak it constantly  This was also the favourite toy of my cousins labrador pup which we were looking after (the fights over it got quite nasty

) Mojo the cocker im looking after loves his bright yellow squeaky ball he always has it in his mouth and goes mad if he loses it running hunting round the house - unfortunately I do have to hide it occasionally - I can only take so much squeaking

Was his monkey (hand puppet)... now it's the carpet!

..... don't ask!!
Ball on a rope our whippet goes mad for it, plus you can throw it really far without your arm feeling like its going to drop off the next day.We can't let him play with that in the house because he charges around the place too much so in the house its anything with a sqeak in it a bunny at the moment
cheers
Steve
Prince's favourite is a large squeaky dumbell. I wish I never bought it in first place now as he will pick it up at any time and carry it round making this awful racket usually goes on for 1/2 hour at a time. He also uses it to play fetch with - I throw as far away as possible , he brings it back making it squeak and will only give it back when he has exhausted all of its musical notes.
I have tried several times to lose it in the park but he always finds it, Good news was he had puctured it two weeks ago ands so no more noise.
My kind brother though who sees him once a week has taken pity on his poor little friend and now bought him a new one. Only this time bigger and noisier. GRRRRR
Edit to say
My older gsd who also does not like noise has very kindly pulled out the end thing that makes it squeak so peace at last. Older dog now has very satisfied smile whilst youngster is trying his hardest to make it squeak.

Abby's favourite toy is "Tweety" - a squeaky rubber chick. She is now on Tweety number 3. Two are in use and there is a back up in the kitchen drawer.
Next time I go to Pets at Home I will have to buy a few more spares - I dread the day they stop producing new Tweeties. Nothing else comes close.
I can't count the number of times I've been talking on the phone and someone has asked me if I have a bird. :-) This is usually because Abby is at my feet, making Tweety squeak appealingly so I will stop what I'm doing and play. Play consists of tossing Tweety across the room about a billion times whilst Abby runs for him over and over and over again.

tess' favourite toy is a green canvas gundog dummy and stuffed leather pouches, we only have these for training so she goes mad for them, both tess and jack play with the toys in the garden all day numerous tennis balls of different sizes and a blue pedigree chum toy, thought i had lost it a while back only for one day to take a different route through the field at the back of our house to find all the toys that i had lost since i got tess, all rubber toys most of them were chewed up but the p/chum toy intact, the local fox population had been sneaking in and taking the toys :) , for training with jack i use stuffed leather pouches and a mikki floating dumbell again these are only used for training so jack is mad for them, and toby doesnt play all he does is practice sleeping :)
Delilah has a big rubber powerball from marks and spencers....when you bounce it it plays the theme from match of the day! she bounces it as hard as she can to get the tune! :D

Ah Footballs forgot to say footballs are banned in this house. Since Sal grew up she has killed them dead within minutes.

Dallas has a ball that he loves, Vegas loves his flying ring and he has a big monkey that makes monkey noises which he carries about the house and takes to bed with him. Brooks never been a big fan of toys although he will occasionally steal the monkey and try to tear the stuffing out.

Cadmus has his "Precious" which is very small squeeky rubber dumbell that he has had since he was a puppy. He has never chewed it, just carries it about poking out of the front of his mouth or lies with it between his paws. It frequently disappears under or down the side of furniture, but whenever it reappears he pounces on it and does the waggle dance in sheer delight. Spike is occasionally allowed the honour of carrying it about for a while too, but only for a short time after which Cad takes it back.
Next favourite toys are the furry Bugles; he and Spike have one each, and yes, they can simultaneously produce the bugling tune at will, ad nauseum :D

Hi Collect my new pup in a couple of weeks and have been buying all his stuff for him. Have a kong, a kong with a chewy rope, a treat ball, ball on a robe, squeaky bone, ball with a bell in it, etc he even has a toy basket to put all his toys in, and yes he even has a special doggy baby blanket waiting for him.
Anyone else have any ideas what a new puppy would like

Bess has burst every football we've ever had. :( After spending a fortune and years of consoling two sons, I've now bought her a Boomer ball and it's fabulous. She goes crazy for it. Had it for a few months now and apart from teethmarks it's like new. :D
http://www.crosskeyspetproducts.co.uk/Tool_Kits/index.htmlMore expensive than a football, but worth it.

Molly likes anything that squeaks but absolutely loves her balls. When she has a favourite toy for the day that is the only one you can play with with her. The balls are all the same colour but if you throw the wrong one (not the one she is playing with) she knows and wont touch it. :p
Barney likes anything that squeaks so that he can sit and chew the squeak box out of it :D but he has a little orange and white furry bear which he takes to bed with him and he has had it since since he was 8 weeks old and he treats is so gently ahhh :D :)
Gina
Edited to say that they dont like kongs - I think even the small ones are much too heavy for them
Jazz has a teddyball (hard belly, squeaky head) that is his favourite, he will not go to bed without it ,he sits at the door and cries until you find it for him. He also has lots of footballs all burst i might add but his fave is definitely teddyball, we get friends and family to buy reserves because he went through a phase of falling out with them. He has had this one quite a while though.
Michelle:)
Morse used to like cuddlies and raid bedrooms for them. Now he likes his squeaky dumbell and a 2L plastic bottle with the middle stamped in, but number one is always a sock or towel to play tuggy.

Bradleys favourite is Bra's and a squeaky dog. He also has a teddy bear that he had when he was 3 wks old (he was a singleton) that is treated with the upmost respect to the point he sat by the washing machine when it was washed accidently with his bedding. Bad mum.

Sparky has "towely" - a towel with pictures of bears all over it, knotted in the middle. :)
Chance has a dumbell with a bell in it. Somewhere. I can't find it just now :D
When Moss and Mitch (his brothers) come for a visit the favourite toy then is.... the clump of grass they just dug up. My back garden is full of holes thanks to them. One (Mitch, I think) digs up the grass, brings it in to the house to show it off and all three then tear off back into the garden. Maybe I should 'find' the dumbell?
