hello i was just wondering if dogs can catch any sort of illness or diease from chickens,because we got a pup who is spending most of his time outside playing with chickens,his very good with them and chickens are used to him.can chicken mites,knits etc be moved on to dogs coats etc.please advise

Not sure if they can catch anything, but I've kept hens for over 25 years and my dogs have never caught anything from them. :)

i read a articale on the internet suggessting dogs can pick up illnesses from chickens etc.best bit is ask your vet,or ask him to find out for you.
