As I live in the country we don't usually get bothered by fireworks. Tonight, however, one of my neighbours decided to let off a few just outside my house - on the grass verge. The wind is so strong they were hitting my window (fireworks, not neighbours ). SO, I opened my curtains, put the outside light on and sat, with the dogs, and watched! I couldn't see the culprits, but I can guess as to which house they came from (there are only 8 in the street ;) and a new family moved in within the last year :D )

I think they were trying to frighten the dogs - didn't work, did it. With the exception of Chloe (the one who is supposed to be whelping on Monday, or not if you believe the vet) they didn't bat an eyelid. Chloe moved through to the bedroom and went to sleep under the sofa. Nothing new in that, she's done it all week.
