Looking at your health page i noticed anal glands and somebody asked if it could make your dog smell. My dog does he is 9 months and the vet has squeezed his glands before when he was 2 months now he gets really smelly and i have to clean him and his bed every 2 days as its really bad it smells like stale water don't like to bath him too much as hes a westie and they can be prone to bad skin would it be worth going to vet or are some dogs just smelly

It is often a yeast infection that causes a dog to smell, keeping the coat well groomed so the air can get to the skin and the skin is therefore not always damp will help, as will a good diet. Hate to bring it up again but you could try Burns if you are not already useing it, my vet tells me that he suggests that to all his Westie owners because of their skin problems.
