Have a look for breeders here Champdogs breeders index Please make sure that breeders have carried out ALL relevant health checks on both parents

Good advice from Melody, but in the UK there is no screening program for patella luxation :(
Sadly it appears that it is a considerable problem too!

We bought one of our Chihuahuas from a breeder on the Champdogs list of breeders and the puppy had severe grade 4 patella luxation when less than a year old. Breeder was unconcerned :(
