Can anyone tell me if the bouviers coat is likely to affect astmatics,at the moment we have a poodle,non moulting so no problems.

Non moulting breeds include:

BEDLINGTON TERRIER
POODLE
FOX TERRIER (WIRE)
YORKSHIRE TERRIER
PORTUGUESE WATER DOG
BICHON FRISE
MALTESE
AFGHAN HOUND
KERRY BLUE TERRIER
TIBETAN TERRIER

Not too sure about a BdF

SOFT COATED WHEATEN TERRIER

they are also non moulting, and hypo- allergic (sp)

well, you did a lot better than me! i wouldn't have listed half those on my list! i just know about the wheaten because it is my particular breed. sorry if i sounded rude melody. :-)

aswell as the others melody said, as far as i know, do not shed. am i wrong on these? i dont want to cause upset on the matter.

dont think the shar-pei comes into it-they can cause a rash on there own :)
