Bakers is fine for your pup, i have seen many pups of many breeds thrive on it.
If you do decide to change over to another brand of food i would wait a few weeks until puppy is steeled in at home with you.
If you want to find what people think of particular foods just use the search facility at the top of the page, type in the food of your choice and read on!
Personally i use Chudleys with my Akitas. My 4 month old bitch has been brought up on Chudleys and has developed well. She has a big bone structure, lots of substance, a thich lush coat that shines like god knows what and is in very good condition all round.
Good luck with your pup! Don't forget to get him to trianing classes!!!!! Sharpish!!!!LOL
Take care

thanks for that miasmum
I might switch over to chudleys from burns.Because he always seems very hungary plus his not putting on weight.i forgot what dogs u got, have u ever used burns?i went to use burns because there were loads of posts saying good things about burns, finiding the right food for your dog is very hard.

Burns can be a very good food, it depends on the dog! I did try it, but noses were turned up. I have Akitas, they can be fussy and i have found that Chudleys is a good all rounder for mine. If you can't find a supplier Dodson and Horrell (Chudleys is just the pet food range of theirs) have a mail order service available on line or by phone. The website is www.chudleys.co.uk. They also have a range of pet products, bowls, leads and the like. I was looking at their training lead for the pup.
Every dog is different, with some it won't matter how hard you try they will only take to one or two foods and thats that. Others will eat anything. Mine are the former!
I hope you get on well with the Chudleys, i have had really good results with it!
Take care

My pet dog has eaten bakers on and off for years and always done ok with it... it has been said that dogs eating Bakers poo more but I've never counted so I'm not sure. lol ;)
Toby is on Bakers and thriving on it and my vet said it is one of the best complete foods i could give him.
