Hi Guys,
I last owned a dog 35 years ago - had to choose between wife & dog - wrong choice!
Starting over on Tuesday with some trepidation - I'm collecting a beautiful dog puppy.
I know this breed is demanding but am prepared to exercise at least one hour per day.
Any advice?

Get your puppy to a GOOD puppy class as soon as possible - ask your vet for recomendation and go and see a class before comitting yourself. You will get lots of support/advice from the trainer and other owners, as well as having the opportunity for your pup to become well socialised to other dogs and people.

I will do that - there is notice board in the local ver's office- nover the weekend would be a good time to view a class.
