YES I own one his father is a Timber Wolf and his mother is Rotty and I seen both parents (he also had a german shepherd bitch and a rotty shepherd bitch one was pregnant and the other had 2 week old pups, he was my hubby's friends uncle who was breeding them.) We got Taz at 4 weeks. He is now 10 years old 158 pounds and lives indoors with us, he's part of the family. They are very nice animals but you have to realize they are not dogs part of them is a wild animal. We are very fortunate the way he turned out, you are not sure which way they are going to go they could end up taking on more of the dogs personality or the wolf. A lot of people are amazed at his size and his looks and have many people stop us because they want to breed with him but he's fixed. If I could have him all over again at 4 weeks I would, but rather then that I wouldn't get another one like I said we are very lucky. Our friend was going to bring us back from up north a 5 week old huskey/wolf crossed with a wolf and we said no, one reason was because their deffinately would have been a lot more wolf in her then Taz. She was all white and he said that she was beautiful but we didn't want to take the chance and she had such an amazing personality.
O'well our next big dogs will be a Mastiff and a Bordeaux :) and if my son has his way a Beagle :)
