I have been told that my puppy is in fact a real breed. Is my bichon poodle a bolognese?

Bichon Frise , Poodle and Bolognese are all completely different breeds. There is no such breed as a Bichon Poodle. If your dogs' mother and father were different breeds - i.e. one is a Bichon and one is a Poodle then your dog is a cross breed, not a pedigree. Even if both parents are pedigrees, if they are different breeds, the puppies are cross breeds - not pedigree.
