I have a dog with a badly infected tooth. He has been given antibotics through an I.V. twice already and it doesn't seem to make a differenc. I was wondering if anyone could tell me of an alternative medicine (herbal) that i could apply to the infected area that would not harm my dog.

Can't you just have it taken out.

I agree, get the tooth removed as soon as possible, then the antibiotics can sort out the remaining infection. The poor dog must be in a lot of pain.

The vet can't pull it until he can clear up the infection or atleast thats what i was told. The dog is 14 years old and he is very weak and sick and the vet said that in the condition he is in that the dog will probably not wake up if he puts him under. This is why i wanted to know if anyone is familar with alternative medicine....
