does anyone know of any puppy classes around the bristol area?

Only Obedience and ringcraft. I know some of the Vets hold puppy socialisation classes, Rowes being one of them.

they do puppy classes in the field behind lucas vets in longwell green, you could also try looking on noticeboards in pet shops like jolleys or petsmart. hope this helps

I would have a look at these websites to see if there is a trainer near you:

We've just finished the course ofpuppy classes at Lucas vets and can safely say that they were excellent. Puppy is unrecognisable from the mad lunatic that he was!

Hi all, I have an afghan puppy who arrived Thursday. I used to use Rowes with the family dogs until I moved out last year, they had some brilliant vets but no personal touch whatsoever (and probably the most expensive) Anyway I have registered my new pup Lana with Lucas at Longwell Green, we went for our free puppy MOT last night and I was impressed, more so when I got a carrier bag full of free goodies including some frontline!! :) Anyway Lana is joining socialisation classes there for £25 starting November 18th she is also starting clicker training classes the same week with a trainer, held at another vets in Emerson's Green, but I cant remember the name of that one because its just where the classes are held (with Krazy K9's!)

i agree, i used to take my (very naughty) little jack russell to the training classes at lucas, and they were a great help and very patient and understanding with him, the only problem is that its outside so in the winter you tend to get quite wet and muddy.

I take my pups to a general obedience class, which is fairly informal and so involves sociolisation etc.
It is in Keynsham, near Bristol and is only £2 per session. Please rng me if you need any more information.
