Hello
Bought some Panacur and Drontal at crufts this year, not sure about Frontline as i already had it from my vets, Not sure if you can buy it at other champ shows, and im quite sure you can buy it online aswell!!!somewhere!!!
Where i used to live my local farm shop used to sell Drontal & Panacur.

Hi Panacur and Drontal are available online
here or
here but Frontline is only available in this country with a prescription from your vet. HTH Gillian

Hi Val
I just read your message about Frontline that you bought from Australia. I pay £10 for Advantage for my Bullmastiff and the other 2 smaller breeds so I think Im going to try Frontline now as it seems reasonable, 6 months supply for $30.00, obviously we would need the size down as well but Im sure it will still be cheap in the long run.
Do you have the link to that site please ?
Thanks.

Hello Xena,
The site is http://www.interpet.biz/index.html
They have some good special deals on Frontline at the moment - $16.75 x 3 for medium dogs.

Hi Val.
Thank you for giving me the link to that website, its most appreciated ;0)
Hi Val,
I was just wondering how it gets through customs - has it got a declaration on it? There was a thread on this not long ago, and someone said it's not actually legal for just anyone to import prescription medicines to the UK. Wish we could - don't know now whether to risk ordering and getting caught!

Hello, Hilda
Oh, no, I hope I haven't messed up...
I never heard there was a problem and I know a few people that buy online also from other countries. Apparently you can buy it anywhere in Europe, too. Do you think this site would ship it if it was illegal? I don't remember what was written on the package, just the site's name. I think the only reason it's only sold by vets in the UK is for them to make more money.
I get my packages usually within 5 days. I think I'll ask the site about it! Do you think anyone from customs read this forum?? I hope I didn't p_ss any vet off...!
I'll contact them and let you know.

Hi Val,
Let me know what you find out! On the other thread someone mentioned going to France and buying Frontline there over the counter, but someone else replied and reckoned that's still not legal. I'm not sure what to think! It does seem a bit daft that so many places just sell it, and cheaper too, but in the UK you have to pay extra just to get it from the vet's. Anyway, exactly what the rule is on bringing in prescription medicines I don't know - wonder if you need a licence or something like that. There was one site I looked at, can't remember which now, but they sell Frontline on their website, but you have to have proof of a vet's prescription.

Hi Val,
Just had a look at the other thread on this - it's under Visitors Questions, topic 'Frontline off ebay' - haven't learnt anything new really, except a couple of people mention that upon delivery (from the US) the postman charged them something like £28 in duty!

Hello, Hilda! :D
I haven't received an answer yet, but I think in the case of EBay the custom charges were for an item coming from USA, not because it was Frontline. I have paid customs 3 times for items off EBay, but never more then £10.00 and I had to pay because the seller ticked merchandise and also because the item was over I think £18.00. Or, if Frontline was illegal because it wasn't bought with a prescription, wouldn't customs stop the parcel if they charged the recipient because of what it is inside the parcel(could you understand me?)? Anyway, I'll let you know what happens...Brainless suggested finding an EEC suplier, but I haven't had any luck.
Val xxxx :D :D :D

Has anyone the address of an EEC supplier, then there shouldn't be a Customs problem?????
thanks for the links, i'll have a look :)
