I've read a few breed specific books and am sure on what I want (SBT) but I wanted to read up a bit on the latest ideas for puppy training and general care (maybe even a how to on showing?) as it's been a good few years since I had a pup!

Any titles you can recommend would be great and if you've any second hand ones to sell email me ;

The Perfect Puppy by Gwen Bailey is a useful book to have. It covers basic puppy training in an easy to read manner.

I seem to remember that Alan Hedges (Ramblix) produces SBT Annuals that you may find helpful as well, especially if you are interested in showing. Perhaps some of the Staffie owners on board may be able to give you more details on this.

I have just brought "The ultimate staffordshire bull terrier" by clare lee and joyce shorrock
It has everything in here from puppy training to how to show. It even has a section on breed realated conditions untill i read this i thought i was on my own with a staffie with knee and ligament problems but it seems it can be a problem in staffies also it can be hereditary.
It also has some lovely pictures of staffords of the past and ones being shown now!
