We thought my moms dog "Bear" (14 year old Shih-Tzu) had idiopathic vestibular syndrome but earlier today he had two mild seizures back-2-back. It was pretty scarry. I wish my mom wouldn't have seen him during his attack, it broke her heart, she sat on the floor with him and cried. He has had 2 seizures in the past 3 years but they were so mild we weren't sure they were even seizures. My in-laws dog has seizures (hers are bad!!) and I've seen her during many seizures and I know thats definatly what Bear had today. I'm asking anyone if you could offer any help or advice on how to deal with this or words of encouragement for my mom. She already has high blood pressure and I'm REALLY worried about the both of them.
