
Whether it is too much or not is really up to you and what you are willing to pay .
If the pups parents are not shown and have no champions in the pedigree I would ask why the breeder feels they can justify asking the same price for a pup whose parents are shown and do well and has lots of champs in the bloodline
You will find that people see an ad for say £500 and automatically think that is the going rate and therefore charge the same but you should be paying for quality . Some people are just greedy .
£500 is the top end of the scale . You can get a quality champion sired pup for £450.
A good red you may have to wait for
