I took my westie pup to be groomed today and I have always noticed a brown patch on his tail when I picked him up she informed me that this was a gland and to be careful and that all dogs have this but not always as prominent is this ok (feel a bit stupid as this is my first dog) also his skin seems to be dark and pink is this unusual?
