We recently lost our best pal, a chocolate lab after 11 wonderful years. We couldn't have had a better companion. After putting out a few feelers a couple of breeders have replied with details of pups available spring next year but it seems such a long way off. His beeder no longer keeps dogs so we cannot return to her.
Does anyone know of any reputable breeders who may have a chocolate dog pup available towards the end of November? If by any chance they from the Mardas or Balrion line even better (not asking for much are we!).
A superb experianced home is assured, no kids or other pets, big garden, park / woods close by, lake district holiday home. In other words doggie heaven.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Dear Jonty and Brenda,
I can't say for sure if they will have any, but I would try Ridgeway Labradors in Henley. I know that it is a long way for you, but I am always ready to travel for the right puppy, so I'm guessing that you probably are too!. They mainly breed black and yellow, but they have a lovely chocolate bitch (Buttons, I think her name is!)and you might be lucky.
Anyway, drop them a line, it will be either Helen or Steve that you speak to. If they can't help you, they might know somebody who can!!
Good luck-hope everything goes well
Ali :)
