Don't know one in the area personally but if you stuck travel lodges take dogs (£5 extra) www.travelodge.co.uk

Hi, just spent 2 hours on the internet booking hotels for the show - something else must be on in the area, as everywhere in Stafford/Uttoxeter were fully booked. Ended up booking the Travelodge in Stoke for Wed. night, and Holinday in Express in Burton for Saturday (cos we are going Thursday and Sunday) still reeling from shock at Holiday Inn - £80 for the night! They are usually about £50. So good luck finding somewhere!
bye

Hi everyone - so when the hotels dont allow dogs in the rooms, what do you do? Do you leave them in the car overnight? If so do you take extra security measures? I have never considered doing this (and dont think I could). Perhaps with big dogs who might be intimidating themselves to potential thieves you feel able to do this?

If they wont allow my rotties in I dont book
I would never get a wink of sleep if they were in the car.

My dogs always stay in the car, they don't sleep with me at home and they certainly are not going to when I travel :)
My dogs are not going to let anyone in the car :)
