Can anyone tell me if i am going to have an probs with two bitches in seson, i have GSD 6yr who comes into season when ever she pleases 6mth, 9 mths or even 12mths, I also have a GSD of 6 mths. If the Ice (6yr) comes in at 9 months Inca will be due, so i just wanted to prepare myself for any probs that may arrise. The get on very very well and you can often find them cuddled up together on the sofa, then theres not enough room for me :D

They can become a bit niggly with each other .
Just keep an eye on them as I suppose it all depends on individual bitches

Hazel and Tess always come into season within a week of each other and they seem to be all right

I have always found that one of my bitches always brings the other in. I have never had problems during this time but my dogs (up to now touch wood) have always got on well together.

Slightly off the subject, my younger bitch brought her mother into season (older one usually goes 7 and a half months and has been brought in a good 3 or 4 weeks early). The last twice it has been mum coming in first. As I want to breed her again, have been having pre-mates. She seems to be ovulating very late. Has anyone else had a similar experience like this?
