In the last couple of days Alfie (ten week old pointer) has been arching his back now and again, like you see cats doing. What's this all about!?!
We used to call that the "Dylan squeeze", I always presumed it was a kind of stretch, he still does it occasionally, but my other dogs have never done it!

Does Alfie use his front paws to bat things about the floor or paddle at other dogs? Just checking as Morse looks feline sometimes doing these things.

nah i think its normal my current one dose it then streches as far out as she can go. i wouldent be too worried.
Mind u having said that shes kinda feline like :D

Milly, 7 month old pointer, does that when she's stretching. She also, along with the other pointers, sits up and stretches her neck.

Gus also does it - usually when he's woken :)
